An outdoor slab lives a harder life than an indoor one — full sun, rain, frost and thermal movement, all year. Outdoor coating systems are specified differently for exactly that reason.
The mistake on outdoor concrete is treating it like a garage. A system that never sees the sun does not need UV stability; a patio does. We spec outdoor areas around UV, water and grip first, and appearance second — which is how you get both.
