Why epoxy in a living space

The kitchen and living room are the heart of the house, and they deserve a floor that is both good looking and hard to damage. Unlike tiles, timber or carpet, epoxy creates a single unbroken surface with nothing for dirt to hide in.

  • Resistant to stains, spills and scratches
  • Seamless and non-porous — no grout lines to scrub
  • Finishes from high gloss to decorative flake or metallic
  • Cleans with a quick mop or wipe
  • Long-lasting and cost-effective against traditional flooring

Straight answers

Questions we get asked.

Is epoxy flooring safe for families and pets?

Once fully cured, the finished floor is inert, hard-wearing and easy to keep clean. During installation the area needs to be kept clear and ventilated, and we'll tell you exactly how long that is for your job.

Does it make the floor slippery?

We can add a non-slip additive to the topcoat, and in kitchens we usually recommend it.

How long does installation take?

Most residential areas are done in 2–3 days including preparation and curing.
